Japan Good Toy Award, Hand made Wooden Toy
Master piece of Koji Fujiwara (56), who runs "Yume Kobo Momotaro" in Hanyu City, has been hand making wooden toys "Hittsuki Musi" for 16 years.
"Sticky Bugs (Hittsukimushi)" is a simple structure made by cutting a square piece of sugi, rounding it to make it look like a "trunk", and making a hole. A small magnet is placed on the head of a hornworm that connects fingertip-sized wooden balls.
Kids can lift up hornworms from the hold with the magnetic stick. and connect hornworms together.
